Why Am I Here?...- PCA 111

Q: Why did you pick the Bachelor of Arts in American Urban Studies as your major at MCNY?-
A: I picked the Bachelor of Arts in American Urban Studies as my major at MCNY because I wanted to study Liberal Arts. I first wanted to be sure that the major I chose later on will be something that I know I will want to actually study. I also wanted to be able to take other courses to help me expand my interest.

Q: What are your career/educational goals once you obtain your bachelor of Arts in American Urban Studies? And how will this degree help you achieve these goals?-
A: My career/educational goals once I obtain my Bachelor of Arts in American Urban Studies would be to get a job in the same field as my interest. A few jobs that I can actually start looking into now would be babysitting, working with children by becoming an after school counselor and/or mentor for now. These are just a few things that can and will help to prepare me later on when working with kids to become a teacher or doctor.

Q: As far as computers, World Wide Web, blogs, etc., how comfortable you are using technology?-
A: I am very much comfortable with using technology because we are living in a time where it has to be second nature. Technology is surrounded all around you. Living as a New Yorker, you are always using technology. This can be whether you are talking on the phone, emailing your boss or co-worker an assignment or just blogging about what happened in your day.
